Burmilla

Burmilla cats have a variety of colors: black, blue, chocolate, cream, champagne, lilac, platinum and red. These cats can also be tortoiseshell, with colors including black, blue, brown, chocolate and lilac.

Legend has it that the Burmilla cat was created accidentally in the UK.  Two cats, one Chinchilla Persian and one Burmese, were each awaiting a partner of the same breed in different rooms.  But the night cleaner accidentally left the door open and the rest is history and a new breed was born.
