British Shorthair

British Shorthair cats have very dense, soft coats. The eyes of the British Shorthair cats are large, round and copper in color. Their head is round with chubby cheeks. The body of the British Shorthair cat is rounded and sturdy. This cat has a broad chest, shoulders and hips with short legs, round paws and a plush tail.

The British Shorthair cat may be any color or pattern, but the 'blue' variant is common enough to have a name of its own: the 'British Blue'.

The lifespan of this breed is 10 to 15 years.
